Orange Scented Cake

Cake
¼ C butter (½ stick)
¾ C sugar
2 eggs (separated)
2 T orange zest (finely chopped)
2 T orange juice
1 C flour
1½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1/3 C milk (skim)
Topping
¼ C powdered sugar
1 T orange juice
Preheat oven to 350°. Coat 9" square cake pan with non-fat cooking spray. Beat egg whites with ½ tsp baking powder. Set aside. Combine flour, remaining powder and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, zest and juice. Blend well. Gently add dry ingredients and milk until combined. Fold in egg whites. Pour into cake pan and bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle topping evenly over warm cake. Serve warm or cold.
