Dill Bread

1 package dry yeast
½ C warm water
2 T sugar
1 C cottage cheese
1 T onion flakes
1 T butter
2 tsp dill seed
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp soda
1 egg
2½ C flour (scant)
In a mixing bowl, soften yeast in water.  Add remaining ingredients, excluding flour.  Gradually mix in flour.  Cover and let rise in a warm place (85°) until doubled in size (1 hour).  Coat and 8" round oven-safe bowl with non-fat cooking spray.  Punch down dough and turn into oven-safe bowl.  Cover with a towel and set in warm place to rise, 30 minutes.  Bake in bowl 40-50 minutes at 350° until golden brown.  Remove from oven, brush with butter (optional) and sprinkle with course salt.
